Explore to the Unique Culture and UNESCO Heritage site of Bangladesh (DV-12)

Day 01: Arrival and Hotel Check-in

• After your arrival, our representative will meet up at airport and will transfer you to hotel. You will check-in and relax on the day. Our guide will accompany you and help you to roam you around.
• Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 02: Dhaka City Tour and Overnight Ship Ride

• After having breakfast, you will checkout from hotel and start our tour with the Dhaka City tour. You will be taken to all the top tourist attractions of Dhaka, covering Parliament house, Dhaka University area, Dhakweswari Temple, Lalbug Fort.
• If you love food, you may experience Dhakaya Beriany in the lunch and also will keep exploring the long list of Street Food along the way. After lunch, the guide will route you through tiny allays of old Dhaka to explore Star Mosque, Armenian Church and Pink Palace.
• The day’s activity will end at Shadarghat the steamer terminal which is one of the most crowded places in Dhaka. After experiencing the busy port, you will ride in the local water vessel to travel to the southern part of Bangladesh. The vessels are very safe and multi-store water vessel carries thousands of people through the major river of the country. It will cross the mighty river the Ganges and one of the biggest rivers in Megna on its route. You may step outside to breathe fresh air, check the riverine nightlife of the country.

Day 03: Experience Backwater Canal Cruise along with floating Markets

•  This day early morning at 6:00 AM, you will be picked up from your vessel and will be travel to “Kuriana” for a one-hour drive. Reaching there, you will be embarking on a country motorboat with a boatman for a Back Water Tour (Canal Cruise) on the canals among remote rural villages. Within a short time, you will reach a point, name – “Baukathi” where you will be watching “Floating Vegetable Market”. On this floating market, you will be watching many traditional handheld wooden boats with local village farmers are selling their fresh grown vegetables to the city vegetable vendors.
• After this floating market, you will be again doing the canal cruise among narrow canals and watching the panoramic views of a real rural Bangladesh. On the way, you will stop at Kirtipasha Zamindar Bari premises, the timber market by the bank of the river, and will experience a homely restaurant at Kuriana Bazar.
• You will visit Guthia Mosuqe in the evening and scroll around Barishal City in the evening.

Day 04: UNESCO Heritage, The Mosque City and Drive to Norail

• After the breakfast at 9 AM, we will start our tour. You will be driven to The Mosque City of Bagherhut which is a UNESCO World Heritage site (2.5 hrs drive) and one of the most significant archeological sites of the country. It will be a 3 hrs drive through country side. There are numbers of mosques among which, you will explore the famous 60 Dome Mosque of 15th century and the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali. The mosques are made of hand-made bricks with terracotta artworks, representing the rich heritage of pasts.
• After having lunch at a local restaurant, you will be driven to Mongla port area from where, you will be ride a boat (local boat) to have a short walk to Karamjal which is the first forest station of Sundarban, the biggest mangrove forest. Karamjal is now being used for artificial breading center for fresh water crocodiles and endangered turtles. On return journey, we will stop in a river bank to take a chance to watch river dolphin dumping on and off for breathing.
• In the evening, we will drive to Norail in a beautiful, river-side resort.

Day 05: Otter Fishing & Country Side and Overnight Cruise

• After breakfast, you will be taken to a remote village in Norail District to explore fishermen’s life who uses offer as their helper in fishing. A unique experience of collaboration between wild animal and human. It is a century old culture now, practiced by one/two families. It is also to be noted that, there is no animal cruelty involved rather; otters are like pet help to each other to survive.
• Finishing the unique activities, you will be driven bank to Barishal. You will have some local sightseeing and before on boarding to water vessel to Dhaka reaching next morning.
• Overnight: Water Vessel

Day 06: Explore Old Capital of Bengal Panam City and Sonargaon

• Our representative will meetup at the hotel and will start your tour for the day. You will be driven to Sonagaon (a 1.5 hr drive) to explore the first capital area of Bengal. You will meet the rich and true heritage of Bengal by stepping into renovated buildings like Sardarbari along with surrounded folk museum, touch terracotta decorations and wood carving collections in the architecture of old community building of rich merchandise businessman, Goaldi mosque is the oldest single dome mosque built 16 AD.
• Afterwards Back to Dhaka.
• Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 7: Drop to Airport (Shopping if time permits)

• In this day, if you are interested and time permits (Depending on your flight schedule), you can explore the cheap garments market of the Dhaka city and enjoy famous street foods. Our guide will accompany you and Drop to Airport.
