07 Days Tour Plan to Explore all UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Bangladesh:

Day 1: Arrival in Dhaka
Welcome to Bangladesh! Your journey begins with your arrival and stay in the vibrant capital city of Dhaka. Take some time to rest and get ready for an exciting adventure.
Overnight: Dhaka

Day 2: Explore Culture of Jamdani Sharee and Archiological Sites of Navaratna Teample & Mahasthangarh
After breakfast, you will drive to Bogra, on the way you will explore tangail jamdani Saree weving in the district of Tangail. The traditional art of weaving jamdani was declared a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. On the way to Bogra, you will explore Navaratna Temple of 17th century.
Afterwards, you will be driven to Mahasthangarh is the earliest urban archaeological sites so far discovered in Bangladesh. Though it seems a plain ground but it is 100+ feet above the sea level (current capital Dhaka is only 20 feet above) where the first civilized establishment started on the region back in 4th century BC. The full area was discovered by digging and some work still going on. The area was discovered in early 18th century and the excavation was started in 1930s. When you walk with the thick handmade brick walls of The citadel, you will feel the nostalgic step-back to time. In the late evening, you will check-in to the hotel.

Day 3: UNESCO Heritage (1) and Explore Archiological Sites with Rajshahi City Tour
After breakfast, you will start journey from Bogra to Rajshahi. On the way, you will explore Sompur Mahavihara, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 and signifies as one of the ancient university existed in the region of South Asia. It was the biggest Buddhist monastery south of the Himalayas and the vast complex itself along with, terracotta artworks and ruins of the central complex are ancient archeological marvels on the country. Afterwords, you will visit Kusumba Mosque, a 550 years old mosque build with crafted black stones and often said as “The Black Gem of Bangladesh”. 
In the evening, we will check-in to our hotel in Rajshahi. In the evening, you may explore the Rajshahi city which the cleanest city of the Bangladesh and is said to be one of the cleanest in South East Asia.

Day 4: Explore Puthia Temple Complex, Cultural Hub of Kushtia
After breakfast, you will be driven Puthia. You will explore the Puthia Rajbari and Temple Complex. The establishments are of 18th century representing rich heritage of late Mughal and English colonial era with it is an example of Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. You will also explore number of Hindu crafted temples scattered around the Puthia area.
Exploring the area, you will be driven to Khshtia, which cultural hub of bengal. You will visit shrine of Lalon Shah who was also a prominent Bengali spiritual leader, philosopher, mystic poet and social reformer of early 17th century. The day will be filled with the experience of Bengali Literature. If our schidule meets with activity of Youtube Village, you will be driven to a remote village in on the way to Kushtia. The village is now called YouTube village. In the village there are many YouTuber who has transformed their village from the income from youtube and they make video on their daily village like. Day 5: Fishing with Otters and Community Life around UNESCO Heritage (2), The Sundarban
After breakfast, drive to a remote village of Norail District. Once you reach the village, you will get to experience a traditional fishing technique that has been practiced by a few families for over a thousand years. This technique involves fishing with otters, which are trained to catch fish in the river. It’s a fascinating sight to see the otters work in harmony with the fishermen to catch fish. As you spend time in the village, you will also get a glimpse of the local way of life and the culture of the region.

You will be driven to Mongla and take a local boat to a community living by the Sundarban, the most visited UNESCO heritage sites of Bangladesh (Usually, it takes 3 full days to explore Sunddarban, but due to a 7 days trip, it is designed to accommodate in time). Along the way, you’ll see river dolphins and small-clawed otters. Upon reaching the community, you’ll take a short walk to experience their way of life in harmony with nature. In the evening, you will explore Karamjal Forest Point of Sundarban which is an artificial breading point of Crocodiles to explore unique wild life of Sundarban.
Overnight: Khulna

Day 6: Exploring the Forest and UNESCO Heritage(3), Mosque City of Bagherhut

In the morning, we will use a small hand driven boat to go inside the Sundarban Forest to get a glimps of the biggest Mangrove Forest in the earth. If you are lucky enough, we may encounter wild life too. After breakfast, you will visit Karamjal, an artificial breeding point for the deers and crocodiles. On the way back, you will use the Danga Maari Canal which a place of river dolphin and we may find one or two pooping up for fresh air.

From Mongla our journey starts towards Dhaka and on the way you will visit The Mosque City of Bagherhutis a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most significant archeological sites of the country. There are numbers of mosques among which, you will explore the famous 60 Dome Mosque of 15th century and the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali. The mosques are made of hand-made bricks with terracotta artworks, representing the rich heritage of pasts.
Overnight: Dhaka

Day 7: Discovering Dhaka City and Airport Drop
Visit top tourist attractions such as Parliament House, Dhakweswari Temple, Lalbug Fort, Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Pink Palace etc to know the history and culture of the most densely populated city of the world. Depending on your flight schedule, we will drop you to Airport.

  • The 04 days best of Bangladesh travel itinerary tour is available 07 days a week and around the year.
  • Rocket steamer is available on Friday to Sunday and Wednesday from Dhaka. To tour in other day, we will use modern vessel and try to catch Paddle/Rocket steamer on return journey. Other modern vessel starts at 8:30PM and we will adjust the time accordingly.
