Come with us on a fun trip! You’ll visit busy cities, quiet rivers, old buildings, and friendly towns. This journey will show you the real beauty of Bangladesh. You will meet kind people, eat tasty food, and see places that are full of life and color.

Day 01 (Jan 14): Arrival and Join Shakrain Festival

Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome and transfer to old Dhaka to attend SHAKRAIN FESTIVAL, where you will join local family in the rooftop of Old Dhaka. You will join in with kits, enjoy the evening with fireworks, music. Then transfer you to hotel.

Day 02 (Jan 15): Explore Old Capital of Bengal Panam City and Sonargaon

Our representative will meetup at the hotel and will start your tour for the day. You will be driven to Sonagaon (a 1.5 hr drive) to explore the first capital area of Bengal. You will meet the rich and true heritage of Bengal by stepping into renovated buildings like Sardarbari along with surrounded folk museum, touch terracotta decorations and wood carving collections in the architecture of old community building of rich merchandise businessman, Goaldi mosque is the oldest single dome mosque built 16 AD.

After lunch, you will embark on an AC bus journey to Khulna.

Day 3 (Jan 16): Into the Wild Journey Begins

Reaching Deep into the Sundarban Forest (Beginning of Sundarban Trip). Early in the morning, you will head to the ship port area from your hotel in Khulna. After a served breakfast, the vessel will gently commence its journey towards the Sundarbans, the world’s biggest mangrove forest.

After approximately three hours of cruising, you will disembark at Harbaria for your first encounter with the Sundarbans forest. You are expected to reach Kachikhali in the evening, where you will have some time to explore the forest. In Kochikhali, you will observe the natural beauty of the mangrove forest, and as the sun sets, you might witness wild animals silently approaching the riverbed to drink water.

You will have an overnight stay on a tourist vessel at Kochikhali.

Day 04 (Jan 17): Deep into the Sundarban

Very early in the morning, with the sunrise, you will board a small country boat to explore the silent beauty of Sundarban. This early exploration offers a chance to encounter wildlife as they come close to the river banks to drink fresh water. The hope is to meet with deer, thousands of birds, wild pigs, and other wild animals. If you are lucky, you might even come across a Royal Bengal Tiger. The day will involve jungle trekking around the Jamtora Beach area, riding a watch tower, feeding deer at Kotka area, and enjoying meals along with eagle feeding at the river site of Kokta. You will stay overnight on the boat at Kokta, with movement upstream depending on the high tide. Please note that mobile network will generally not be available after evening during your Sundarban trip.

Day 05 (Jan 18): Return Journey from the Sundarban Forest

On your final day of the Sundarban trip, you will begin your return journey. Depending on the high tide timing, your cruise will head back to the locality. Along the way, you will explore Karamjal, which is an artificial breeding center for deer and crocodiles.

After lunch, you will be driven to The Mosque City of Bagerhat which is a UNESCO World Heritage site (2.5 hrs drive) and one of the most significant archeological sites of the country. It will be a 3 hrs drive through country side. There are numbers of mosques among which, you will explore the famous 60 Dome Mosque of 15th century and the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali. The mosques are made of hand-made bricks with terracotta artworks, representing the rich heritage of pasts.

Day 06 (Jan 19): Experience Backwater Canal Cruise along with floating Markets

This day early morning at 6:00 AM, you will be picked up from your vessel and will be travel to “Kuriana” for a one-hour drive. Reaching there, you will be embarking on a country motorboat with a boatman for a Back Water Tour (Canal Cruise) on the canals among remote rural villages. Within a short time, you will reach a point, name – “Baukathi” where you will be watching “Floating Vegetable Market”. On this floating market, you will be watching many traditional handheld wooden boats with local village farmers are selling their fresh grown vegetables to the city vegetable vendors.

In the evening you will explore Barishal City. After that you will board the water vessel to Dhaka, arriving the next morning.

Day 07 (Jan 20): Train Journey, Nature Trails and Forests

Upon reaching Dhaka, your journey continues with a scenic train ride to Srimangal — the tea capital of Bangladesh. Begin with a visit to Shada Pathor, a beautiful river beach known for its crystal-clear waters and serene atmosphere. Next, experience a boat cruise through the mystical Ratargul Swamp Forest, one of the only freshwater swamp forests in Bangladesh — a haven of biodiversity.

In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful drive through the rolling green hills and tea gardens as you make your way back to Srimangal.

Day 08 (Jan 21): Exploring Lawachora Forest and Ethnic Community

Spend the day immersed in the natural beauty of Srimangal. Wander through endless stretches of lush tea gardens, where the aroma of fresh leaves fills the air. Visit the serene Madhobpur Lake, nestled amidst green hills — a peaceful spot perfect for reflection and birdwatching. Later, take a guided walk through the Lawachora Rainforest.

You’ll also have the unique opportunity to interact with local ethnic communities such as the Monipuri and Khasia, gaining insight into their rich traditions and way of life.

Day 09 (Jan 22): Lemon Gardens and Local Life

Begin your day with a visit to the fragrant lemon gardens, where rows of citrus trees stretch across the countryside. Immerse yourself in the rhythms of rural village life, engaging with locals and observing traditional practices that reflect the region’s rich cultural heritage.

In the afternoon, board a scenic train ride back to Dhaka, offering one last glimpse of the lush Bangladeshi landscape.

Day 10 (Jan 23): Dhaka City Tour and Airport Drop

We will meet up at your hotel or airport at 10:00 AM and start our tour with the Dhaka City tour. You will be taken to all the top tourist attractions of Dhaka, covering Parliament house, Dhaka University area, Dhakweswari Temple, Lalbug Fort etc.

If you love food, you may experience Dhakaya Beriany in the lunch and also will keep exploring the long list of Street Food along the way. After lunch, the guide will route you through tiny allays of old Dhaka to explore Star Mosque, Armenian Church and Pink Palace.

In the evening, we will drop you to the airport/hotel for your next destination.
