Cox’s Bazar & St. Martin Island Tour

Cox`s Bazar beach is said to have the world`s longest unbroken clean sandy beach. The 120 km length of the beach always attracts tourists from different parts of the world because of its smooth and soft carpeting of silvery sand sloping gently into the clean blue water of the Bay of Bengal. It is overlooked throughout by a picturesque range of forested green hills.Cox’s Bazar is famed for its calm and Quiet, shark-free beach with the green trees and pretty hills on one side and the blue waves on the other.

St. Martin`s island is a beautiful coral island under Teknaf upazila. Local people call it Narikel Zinjira It is also called the ‘beauty spot of the Bay. The 13 sq Km island is a tropical treasure, situated 17 km away from Teknaf, with beaches fringed with coconut palms, seashells and bountiful marine life. Visitors can see live corals here.

An overnight stay on St. Martin`s island is really an extraordinary experience: you can lie in bed and listen to the murmuring of endless waves. It would be a bonanza for anyone to experience the beauty of the moonlit night on this island. Tourists may also plan a visit to Chhera dwip, which is close to St, Martin`s island and famous for its tranquil beauty.

Itinerary of Cox’s Bazar and St. Martin Tour:

Day 1: Over night journey.

Start for Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka by A.C. bus around 10 pm and after an overnight journey we will reach Cox’s Bazar at around by 9 am in the morning.

Day 2: Surfing the web at Cox’s Bazar

Reaching Cox’s Bazar, tourist will be given some private time to relax either in the hotel or in the sandy beach. You can also surf over the sea. In the evening tourist will have free time to enjoy the beautiful sea side and the sunset. If the moon permits you may also enjoy the dancing of moonlight over the sea bed from your hotel room.

Day 3: Exploring Cox’s Bazar

We will start to moving with hill and sea side by side to reach Inani, a coral beach which in 10 k.m. away from the main town. Along the way, you can enjoy the green of hill, freshness of waterfall or have a look of the sea from on the top hill at Himchori. After lunch, we will visit a old Buddist temple in the hurt of city. The evening will be free to take pleasure in beach and shopping.

Day 4: Sailing towards St. Martin Island

We will start our journey towards Teknaf very early in the morning and will have breakfast at Teknaf, the journey by ship to St. Martin will start by 9-9:30 am. On the way to St. Mar tins tourists can enjoy the beauty of the blue river of Naf and the green hills of Teknaf. The journey through the estuary of the Bay of Bengal and the river Naf will be a unique experience for the tourists. During the journey to St. Martins, people can also enjoy the scenic beauty of Pagodas of the city of Longdu of Myanmar. After two hours journey, our ship will reach at St. Martins Island.

After launch, tourist will be given some private time to relax either in the hotel or in the sandy beach. At night, you may have a Bar-B-Q dinner at night.

Day 5: Return to Teknaf  and Over Night Journey back home

At 9:00 am we will start for Chera Dwip, a virgin island which is the last point of the southern part of Bangladesh. A motor boat will take you to Chera dwip where you can enjoy the beauty of corals and tide of the sea.

After launch, at 3 pm we will start for a return journey to Teknaf by ship. On the way back to Teknaf, tourists can enjoy the beauty of the sunset at the river and the birds returning home.

We hope to reach Teknaf at around 6:30 and will start our return journey to Dhaka by an A/C bus and hope to reach Dhaka in early morning the next day.
