Day 01: Arrival and Hotel Check-in

  • After your arrival, our representative will meet up at airport and will transfer you to hotel. You will check-in and relax on the day. Our guide will accompany you and help you to roam you around.
  • Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 2: Dhaka and City Tour

  • After breakfast, you will explore the heritage, culture and history of Dhaka city on the very last day of the tour. Starting in the morning, you will be taken to all the top tourist attractions of Dhaka, covering Parliament house, Dhaka University area, Dhakweswari Temple, Lalbug Fort.
  • If you love food, you may experience Dhakaya Beriyany in the lunch and also will keep exploring the long list of Street Food along the way. After lunch, the guide will route you through tiny allays of old Dhaka to explore Star Mosque, Armenian Church and Pink Palace. In the evening, you will visit shadarghar area to check of the rush culture around river port of Bangladesh. In the evening, embark on an overnight boat journey to Barishal.
  • Overnight Stay: Overnight River Cruise to Barishal

Pass by: Parliament House, Dhaka University Area, Shahid Minar

Day 3: Experience Backwater Canal Cruise and Country Side

  • This day early morning at 6:00 AM, you will be picked up from your boat by the guide and will be travel to “Banari Para” for a one-hour drive. Embarking on a country motorboat you will reach a local bazar, name – Banaripara/Harta/Athghar Baokathi (depending on day of the week) where you will be watching “Non Touristic Floating Vegetable Market”. On this floating market, you will be watching many traditional handheld materials with local village farmers are selling their fresh grown vegetables to the city vegetable vendors.
  • After this floating market, you will be again doing the canal cruise among narrow canals and watching the panoramic views of a real rural Bangladesh. On the way, you will stop at the timber market by the bank of the river and may experience a homely restaurant for Lunch.
  • You will visit Guthia Mosuqe in the evening and scroll around Barishal City in the evening.

Day 4: UNESCO Heritage, The Mosque City and The Living Beside Biggest Mangrove Forest

  • After the breakfast at 9 AM, we will start our tour. You will be driven to The Mosque City of Bagherhut which is a UNESCO World Heritage site (2.5 hrs drive) and one of the most significant archeological sites of the country. It will be a 3 hrs drive through country side. There are numbers of mosques among which, you will explore the famous 60 Dome Mosque of 15th century and the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali. The mosques are made of hand-made bricks with terracotta artworks, representing the rich heritage of pasts.
  • After having lunch at a local restaurant, you will be driven to Mongla port area from where, you will be ride a boat (local boat) to have a short walk to Karamjal which is the first forest station of Sundarban, the biggest mangrove forest. Karamjal is now being used for artificial breeding center for fresh water crocodiles and endangered turtles. Your boat will drop you to community cottage/eco resort at the edge of Sundarban forest late afternoon.
  • Overnight: Community Cottage (Location will be on the age of forest separating by a cannel)

Day 5: Exploring Wild Life and Community Living

  • In the morning, you will ride a hand heald boat to go inside the forest to experience the sanity of the forest and will come to know how people service in accordance with forest by harvesting honey, fallen woods, fishing and netting around the forest. You may catchup with a glimpse of the Rhesus macaque and the water monitor lizard.
  • At around 11AM, we will get back to mongla and you will be driven to a remote village in Norail District (2-hour drive) to explore fishermen’s life who uses offer as their helper in fishing. A unique experience of collaboration between wild animal and human. It is a century old culture now, practiced by one/two families. It is also to be noted that, there is no animal cruelty involved rather; otters are like pet help to each other to survive. Afterwards, you will get back to Khulna.
  • Overnight: Khulna

Day 6: Scenic Train Journey to Rajshahi and Explore Heritage of Phutia

  • At 06:30AM in the morning, you will be taken to the train station to catch the train to Rajshahi where we hope to reach by noon. On the way, you will have the chance to take photos of beautiful Bangladeshi villages, lash rice fields and observe the calmness of the country side.
  • The Rajshahi is said to be the capital of north Bengal and one of the cleanest cities in Bangladesh, situated beside the mighty river Padma (Gangies). If time permits, you will also explore Gangies river bank area, explore Silk production and around the local city of Rajshahi which is said to be the cleanest city of Bangladesh.
  • Overnight Stay: Hotel at Rajshahi

Day 7: Archeological Expedition Day

  • After breakfast, you will explore the Puthia Rajbari and Temple Complex. The establishments are of 18th century representing rich heritage of late Mughal and English colonial era with it is an example of Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. You will also explore number of Hindu crafted temples scattered around the Puthia area.
  • The drive will continue 3 more hours to Sompur Mahavihara, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 and signifies as one of the ancient university existed in the region of South Asia. It was the biggest Buddhist monastery south of the Himalayas and the vast complex itself along with, terracotta artworks and ruins of the central complex are ancient archeological marvels on the country. In the Afternoon, you will drive to Dhaka.
  • Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 8: Drop to Airport

  • After breakfast, we will Visit Old Capital of Panam City and Sonargaon, if time permits (Depending on your flight schedule), we will stop at Sonargaon and Panam City where you can experience the rich heritage of before of Bengal. Afterwards, you will be dropped at airport.
  • Overnight Stay: N/A
