6 Days: Explore nature and culture northern east of Bangladesh (DV-8)

Day 1: Arrival and Hotel Check-in

• After your arrival, our representative will meet up at airport and will transfer you to hotel. You will check-in and relax on the day. If you are interested, enjoy famous street foods. Our guide will accompany you and help you to roam you around.
• Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 2: Dhaka and City Tour

• After breakfast, you will explore the heritage, culture and history of Dhaka city on the very last day of the tour. Starting in the morning, you will be taken to all the top tourist attractions of Dhaka, covering Parliament house, Dhaka University area, Dhakweswari Temple, Lalbug Fort.
• If you love food, you may experience Dhakaya Beriyany in the lunch and also will keep exploring the long list of Street Food along the way.
• After lunch, the guide will route you through tiny allays of old Dhaka to explore Star Mosque, Armenian Church and Pink Palace. In the evening, you will visit shadarghar area to check of the rush culture around river port of Bangladesh. In the late evening, you will get back to Dhaka.
• Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 3: Drive to Holy City of Sylhet and Explore the City Life

• After having breakfast, you will checkout from hotel and we will take a train/bus to reach the holy city of Sylhet.
• Sylhet is well known for its natural beauty will fixed culture from west with religious blend. It will be 5.5 hours of drive and on the way, you can visualize the country sides and lash green fields that truly represent the local life around the country.
• Reaching Sylhet at lunch, we will check-in to hotel and have a bit rest.
• In the evening, you will visit shrine of shahjalal, named as The Shah Jalal Dargah where devotees around the country gathers to show their respect. Then, you will visit shrine of Shah poran, it is said that they were the first to arrive in Bengal region to spread the lights of Islam.
• We will have a walk-in busy Manipuri market where clothing for ethnic communities is sold.
• Overnight Stay: Sylhet

Day 4: Exploring Nature – Sada Pathor and Ratargul Swamp Forest

• You will checkout from the hotel at Sylhet and start the day’s activity driving towards beautiful Sada Pathor (Bholagong) area, where you will find crystal clear and cold water flowing from the upstream.You may a dip in the water to rejuvenate and after exploring the nature there. If you love protrate photography, you may love to take some photos of stone workers working on the nearby stone crashing factories. You will get back to hotel, freshen up and check out.
• After check-out, you will move towards Ratargul Swamp Forest is a freshwater swamp forest located in Gowain River. If you are not likely to meet any wild life except different verity of birds but the forest is one of a kind that you will feel as you will move around with hand driven boats. From the month of October to March, the water level would be low but would be just enough to explore around.
• In the evening, you get drive to the tea capital of Srimangal.
• Overnight Stay: Srimangal

Note: People used to wet themselves up in Shada Pathor area. If you would like to, we would recommend to bring long towel/couth to cover yourself up as it is a public area and you likely to be the only foreign tourist.

Day 5: Exploring Lawachora Forest, Ethnic Community and Tea Gardens

• After breakfast, you will be exploring Srimangal. Srimangal is the tea capital of Bangladesh with lots of lash green tea gardens around. First, you will do 2 hours of Jungle walk in Lawachora forest. It is famous for black faced money, different verity of spiders and birds. You will also visit ethnic community living inside forest, living a modern life.
• After the lunch, you will explore the tea gardens and life of Monipuri and Tipra Tribe families who are mostly workers in the tea gardens. If you are interested, you can have a bath in typical local pond or in the natural stream, running through tea gardens. In the evening, you will visit Baikkar Bil to explore Natural Bird Sanctuary. You will get back to hotel after dark, you will get back to hotel.
• Overnight Stay: Srimangal

Day 6: Journey Bank to Dhaka

• After breakfast, you will scroll around the Srimangal to explore the local life and tea gardens
• At around 12 PM, you will checkout from accommodation, have lunch and have a train/bus journey back to the capital city of Dhaka.
• It will be a 5 hours’ drive and reaching Dhaka. Reaching, we will drop you to airport.
• Overnight Stay: N/A
